Orser Road – Freeman Road

The Hike of two Railways! Start out wending north along the K&P, before suddenly turning ‘sharp right’ on to the Cataraqui Trail. The Cataraqui Trail is an old CN Rail line that goes from Strathcona in the south to Smiths Falls in the north. Admire the views to the south as the Cat Trail leads you into Sydenham, and a wonderful place for lunch in the Park by the old mill race. Out of Sydenham, it is sharp left and sharp right as the road to Gould Lake entrance gives you a good hint as to what is about to start!
